2022 WSOP Online Will Include Michigan and Pennsylvania Players

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022 started on August 14 and will run until October 18. Players in Michigan and Pennsylvania have a reason to smile this year because they are included in this festival. WSOP is considered the largest poker event in the world. Competitions will feature six bracelet tournaments per week and will involve players from each state.

Michigan’s online sports betting field is a top revenue generator

Michigan online sports betting became legal in December 2019 after Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed the legalization bill into law. It became the 5th state to legalize online betting and the 20th to allow sports betting. Since then, the sector has consistently recorded growth year after year. It is a leading state in sports betting compared to many other states.

An overview of the tournaments

The WSOP series presents a series of annual poker tournaments. The traditional host is Nevada, and it was founded in 1970. Players can visit the WSOP website to get details about the event, the WSOP online schedule, and news. The main actions this year include poker tables at the biggest poker room, the GGPoker. The action in this venue runs from August 14 to September 27.

The next series of events will be held online at WSOP.com and will run up to October 18. Players will participate in the golden bracelet tournament in this event. The final action will be held in Las Vegas, where both local and international WSOP online winners will participate in the Tournament of Champions.

The prize

The online tournament is an intensive competition that requires players to sharpen their problem-solving, cognitive, and imagination skills. Slow computers will not offer an advantage to players. If you want to grab the prize, you might want to upgrade your CPU to ensure it offers the fastest speed.

Players have a chance to win cash prizes amounting to millions of dollars. The GGPoker WSOP online is the main event, and it features $20 thousand guaranteed money. Other prizes are a $10,000 heads-up NLH championship and a series of other prizes amounting to $500, $400, $1,000, and many others.

Michigan and Pennsylvania will not participate in all events

Michigan and Pennsylvania are yet to sign an online gambling treaty. Due to this, they will not have the privilege to participate in all the events. They will have a chance to compete in the bracelet tournament six times a week. Nevada and New Jersey have a chance to compete in 33 events.

MI and PA states will not have the privilege of events such as the $400 PLOSSUS 6-Max, which will be held on September 24, 2022. The next will be the $10,000 Super High Roller to be held on October 18, 2022. These will be reserved for NJ and Nevada.
